Seminar on

 Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Legal Aid Clinic of Montgomery Guru Nanak College of Education, Jalandhar organized a seminar on the theme "Say No to Corruption; Commit to the Nation". The Resource Person of the day was Dr.Rupam Jagota, Head Department of Law, Associate Dean G.N.D.U. Regional Campus, Jalandhar. While speaking, the resource person said that as Science and Technology are advancing so is the corruption. Everyday new scams are coming out. Further, she added that continuous vigilance practices, checks and constraints need to be made at management level to stop the corrupt practices. She also said that the corruption begins with the culture of exchange of gifts and is deep rooted in the society from ages. She also suggested that to stop corruption we need to do self check, review situation, identify the of source of corruption, sensitize society and finally the provision of legal punishment needed to reduce corruption.
